Live Music for Product Launches & Cocktail Events
A product launch or cocktail event needs music that works with the room — supporting conversation and building anticipation, without competing for attention before the main moment of the evening. Atlantic Street Band’s acoustic and trio lineups are built exactly for this kind of setting.
We’ve played a range of launch events across Adelaide, including:
- Adelaide Airport’s launch of a new direct international flight route by United Airlines, attended by the Premier of South Australia and other dignitaries
- The Adelaide Fringe Festival poster launch — we also wrote the original jingle used in Fringe’s online advertising in the lead-up to the reveal event, where we performed live
- The Adelaide Film Festival launch, performing in the laneway off Rundle Street near the IMAX and The Elephant, then leading guests on a short procession around the corner to Chateau Appollo on Frome Street
What This Looks Like
- A small acoustic lineup (see Jazz Trio/Duo Hire) — enough presence to set a tone, quiet enough to support conversation
- Positioned near the entrance or a feature area, building energy as guests arrive — similar to our Welcome Music approach
- Able to shift into a livelier set once the formal product reveal/announcement is done, if the event calls for a change in energy afterward
Outdoor Venue Launches
We have had the pleasure of being involved in many outdoor launches at venues such as cafes as well as council and government activations such as Plant 4 Bowden where our ASB4 Acoustic Quartet roved outside and at the launch of the refurbished Bank Street (near Hindley Street and the Adelaide Railway Station) where our ASB5 Electric Quintet played up on a balcony and an AV company took care of piping it through the streets.
