Festival & Community Procession

A Parade Band That Brings the Crowd With It

Some of our earliest and most memorable performances have been leading a moving crowd rather than playing to a static one – from leading a parade at WOMADelaide in the band’s early days, to a procession along the jetty at Coastal Sounds Festival. A roving brass band naturally draws people in and pulls them along, which makes it a strong fit for festival openings, street events, and community celebrations that need momentum, not just background music.

Where This Works Well

  • Festival opening or closing procession
  • Street parties and community block parties (see also our Roving Acoustic Band page)
  • Leading a crowd between event zones — main stage to food area, jetty to foreshore, etc.
