Themed Events

Our repertoire of jazz from the 1920s onwards makes us the perfect band to transport you and your guests back in time for a themed event. Our selection of songs such as Putting on the Ritz and When You’re Smiling were written around the era of The Great Gatsby so look no further for your band – contact us now to chat about our different line-up options.

Christmas

We have been engaged to play at various corporate Christmas events in two different popular formats:

• Dixieland Jazz acoustic mobile format: Trumpet, Clarinet, Banjo, Sousaphone (with optional Trombone and/or Washboard/Drums)
• Background jazz inside powered format with electric piano working with Trumpet and Clarinet or Sax plus occasionally Double Bass and Drums when budget and room size allow.
• The Adelaide Music Club which usually doesn’t like to get the same act back two years in a row booked ASB 3 years running for their December event as we were such a hit including jazzy renditions of Christmas Carols in addition to our usual jazz and swing repertoire.

With members of Atlantic Street Band working on Keith Conlan’s Jazz Float for the famous Adelaide Christmas pageant for the last 10 years, and with direct bookings for ASB to play at Stirling and Port Adelaide Christmas Events, we are no strangers to Christmas Pageants.
